The much-awaited trailer of ‘War 2‘ was launched with much fanfare on Friday, July 25. The trailer features a thrilling battle between Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR, including strong action, romance and sharp banter between the two actors – offering a glimpse of the upcoming spy saga.
As expected, the two minute thirty-five second trailer is packed with thrilling stunts, spectacular visuals and tremendous drama. It begins with the voice of Hrithik Roshan, who vows to give up his name and identity and become a shadow.

The trailer begins with both the lead characters taking their oath as Indian soldiers and spies. Hrithik promises to give up his name and identity and become a ghost, while NTR vows to do what others cannot. Both believe in ‘India first’, yet, for some unknown reason, they are hell-bent on destroying each other.
There are also glimpses of Kiara Advani, who first romances Hrithik’s Kabir, and later gets into a scuffle with him. Kiara also gets a few action scenes in the film, which fans love. There is also a glimpse of Kabir’s handler Ashutosh Rana, who is seen teasing her and even spits on her face. He then says: “He is a soldier. You are a soldier too. And this is war!”
One of the best moments that takes the internet by storm is Hrithik Roshan and Kiara Advani’s full-blown action. For Kiara, this is her first major foray into big-scale action, and sharing screen space with one of Bollywood‘s most seasoned action stars has added new excitement to the film’s buzz.
The much-awaited sequel to the 2019 action blockbuster ‘War 2’ is set to be a cinematic spectacle. Directed by Ayan Mukerji, the film brings together two powerful stars – Hrithik Roshan reprising his role of Kabir, and NTR Jr joining the YRF spy universe, in what is touted to be a fierce contest.
With breathtaking locations across the globe and excellent choreography, ‘War 2’ aims to push the boundaries of Indian action cinema. As part of Aditya Chopra’s extended spy universe, the film is brimming with immense potential, and expectations are skyrocketing ahead of its release in 2025.
The action film will release in cinemas on August 14.
