Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah actor Lalit Manchanda died by suicide on 21 April. He was found dead at his home in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh. According to a Times of India report, the police have confirmed that the actor was found hanging inside his house. The Cine and TV Artists Association (CINTAA) also paid tribute to the late actor. Lalit Manchanda earned fame from Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. Apart from this, the actor has also worked in other TV shows like Kumkum Bhagya, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, India’s Most Wanted, Crime Patrol and others. He has also reportedly appeared in cameo roles in Bollywood films.
Who is in Lalit’s family
Lalit Manchanda is survived by his wife Taru Manchanda. The couple are parents to two children. According to a report by ETimes TV, Lalit had to face mental stress, personal challenges and financial crises in recent months. It is believed that this is the reason for the actor’s suicide.
Suicide letter has not been found from Lalit
Local law enforcement took immediate action after receiving the report of the incident. Officials found that Manchanda’s body was hanging inside the house. The deceased was taken into custody and taken to a local facility for post-mortem. The report also states that no suicide note has been recovered near the spot. The investigation so far suggests that there is no foul play or third party involvement in Lalit Manchanda’s death.
