Box office blast
On August 14, two big films are going to release simultaneously at the box office. On one hand, there is Bollywood superstar Hrithik Roshan‘s ‘War 2’, while on the other hand, South’s legend Rajinikanth’s ‘Coolie’ is also coming.
Advance booking of both the films has started, and according to recent reports, ‘Coolie’ has taken a lead over ‘War 2’.

Rajinikanth’s film ‘Coolie’ will hit the theatres on August 14. According to Sacnilk’s report, it has sold 9,16,290 tickets for 7408 shows in advance booking. This sale has been done in Tamil, Hindi, Telugu and Kannada languages. Coolie has made a gross collection of Rs 19.79 crore before its release, while its business with block seats has reached Rs 26.38 crore.
Global popularity of Coolie
The popularity of Coolie is being seen not only in India but also internationally. According to reports, it has earned Rs 85 crore worldwide and is soon going to touch the figure of Rs 100 crore.
Advance booking collection of War 2
Hrithik Roshan, Jr NTR and Kiara Advani’s action film ‘War 2’ is currently trailing behind ‘Coolie’. According to Sacnilk’s report, it has sold 1,31,148 tickets for 8663 shows in Hindi 2D, Hindi IMAX 2D, Hindi 4DX, Hindi ICE and Hindi DOLBY CINE as well as Tamil and Telugu versions. With this, ‘War 2’ has made a gross collection of 4.27 crores, while its collection with block seats is Rs 8.7 crores.
