Rakesh Roshan announced on social media on Friday that Krrish 4 will be directed by Hrithik Roshan. Apart from this, no other information has been revealed about the film. Priyanka Chopra, who played the lead role in Krrish and Krrish 3, commented on the social media post with clap, fire and heart emojis and soon, fans started wondering if the actress will return to the franchise as Priya Mehra.
Meanwhile, on X, some netizens are also suggesting Kangana Ranaut‘s name for the female lead. She played a pivotal role in Krrish 3. One netizen wrote, “Re-cast @KanganaTeam for the role of Kaya, else the film will flop.” Another netizen posted, “Will Krrish 4 have Kaya?”
Krrish 4 was announced several years ago but the film never went on the floors. Fans of Hrithik and the franchise have been waiting for the film. Last year, there were reports that Shraddha Kapoor has been roped in to play the lead role in Krrish 4, but there has been no official confirmation about the same.

Announcing that Hrithik will be directing the film, Rakesh Roshan had posted, “Duggu 25 years ago I launched you as an actor, and today 25 years later you are being launched again as a director by two filmmakers Aditya Chopra and me to helm our most ambitious film #Krrish4. Wishing you success in this new avatar with best wishes and blessings.”
Krrish 4 will be co-produced by Aditya Chopra under his banner Yash Raj Films.
