It looks like Priyanka Chopra is making a full-fledged Bollywood comeback – Krrish 4 is her next big pair of projects Priyanka Chopra may have gone global over the years, but for her OG fanbase in India, she’s always been their Desi Girl.
The actor’s return to the subtle yet professional Indian cinema-infamous – if reports are to be believed – hasn’t exactly gone under the radar. But from the looks of it, it’s going to be quite a comeback.
Speculations, which are still officially unconfirmed, are abuzz about Priyanka‘s extensive shooting schedule for the SS Rajamouli film, which stars Mahesh Babu in the lead. There was also chatter about Atlee‘s Allu Arjun-starrer which she reportedly turned down. Now according to a report in Pinkvilla, PC has officially been brought on board for Krrish 4.
Priyanka joining Hrithik once again in Krrish 4 is certainly a moment of timing. While there was a lot of back and forth regarding the leading lady for the fourth installment of the superhero franchise, it makes complete sense for the makers to go back to the OG heroine, who has been leading the charge on all the Krrish films so far. The report states,
“Hrithik, and Priyanka are a successful pair and have an excellent working relationship. It was more than a no-brainer for PC to come on board Krrish 4, as the story continues the journey of the characters from Koi Mil Gaya to Krrish, Krrish 3, and now the fourth installment. The actress was stoked to take Hrithik Roshan’s franchise forward, and was excited to see him take on the challenges of directing the film. Fans, for one, feel relieved about the sanctity of the franchise being maintained, though a recurring speculation has been the reason for Priyanka aligning herself back on the axis of Bollywood.
