Akshay Kumar‘s film Housefull 5 witnessed a tremendous rise in earnings on its second day. After a strong opening of Rs 22 crore on the first day, its earnings on the second day (Bak Eid holiday Saturday) rose by almost 30 per cent to Rs 28-29 crore.

Thus, the total earnings of the two days have gone up to Rs 50.50 crore, and the weekend figure is expected to touch around Rs 83 crore depending on the performance on Sunday evening.
