IPL 2025: Who will win between SRH and DC

SRH vs DC: As IPL 2025 is moving towards its final stage, the picture of the playoffs is slowly becoming clear. Although some teams have almost confirmed their place in the top-4, the race still remains challenging for Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) and Delhi Capitals (DC).

Both the teams now have four matches left, but the situation and equation are completely different.

The Delhi Capitals team led by Axar Patel has won 6 out of 10 matches, while the Hyderabad team has won only 3 out of 10 matches. The Hyderabad team is almost out of the tournament. At the same time, the Delhi team would like to take a step towards the playoffs. At present, the teams of Delhi Capitals and Sunrisers Hyderabad are in fifth and 9th place respectively. Delhi’s batting line-up also has players like bowling all-rounder Viparaj Nigam who has the ability to score runs quickly in the last overs but it is Delhi’s bowling that gives them the confidence to go all out for victory. Led by pacer Mitchell Starc, Delhi’s team is in a strong position with experienced bowlers like Dushmantha Chameera and Mukesh Kumar. If Axar is fully fit, then Delhi Capitals have one of the most powerful attacks in IPL 2025. Starc and Axar together took five wickets in the last match against the Knight Riders. However, the defending IPL champions still scored over 200 which can be assumed to have been possible due to the nature of the wicket.

Cummins would like to do wonders

On the other hand, the Sunrisers team could not take advantage of the experience they have.  The team led by Cummins and featuring Shami, Travis Head, Ishan Kishan, Heinrich Klaasen and Jaydev Unadkat is struggling. Unadkat recently spoke openly on Sunrisers’ faltering IPL campaign. He blamed ineffective bowling and changing pitch conditions for the team’s disappointing performance. After losing by 38 runs against Gujarat Titans on Friday, the team is almost out of the playoff race.
