CID 2: CID, one of the most watched TV shows, has returned to TV. The first season of CID started in 1998. The show, starring Shivaji Satam, Dayanand Shetty, Aditya Srivastava and other stars, worked for almost two decades.
The first season ended in 2018. After a few years, the makers revived the show and started CID 2. ACP Pradyuman, Daya, Abhijeet returned to the show. A new entry in the show also created a buzz. Parth Samthan entered the show as ACP Ayushman.

The source shared that ‘The channel has to understand that the easy availability of CID 2 online Netflix and IPL 2025 has badly affected the viewership of the show. Just Shivaji Satam’s exit was a publicity gimmick. The rumours of Parth quitting may also be false. We will have to wait for some time to know the clear picture.’ So far, neither the star nor the makers have commented on this. The makers have also not confirmed Shivaji Satam’s return. His character ACP Pradyuman died in the show.
