Bollywood superstars Akshay Kumar and Shahrukh Khan have given many great films in their career spanning more than 30 years. But both the actors also left many such films which later proved to be blockbusters.

Some of these films went to Ajay Devgan and his luck shone. Let’s see which of Ajay’s films Akshay and Shahrukh must be regretting rejecting even today.

Phool Aur Kaante

Let’s start with the very first film of Ajay Devgan’s career ‘Phool Aur Kaante’. Ajay made his Bollywood debut with this film released in 1991 and he became a star with his first film itself. But this film was offered to Akshay Kumar before Ajay, although Akshay rejected it.

Omkara

‘Omkara’ is one of the great films of Ajay’s career. In this, he played the character named Omkara. But for the role played by Ajay in this film released in the year 2006, an actor like Manoj Bajpayee was first approached.

Gangaajal

In ‘Singham‘, Ajay Devgan’s role as a policeman was liked a lot, but in ‘Gangaajal’ too, Ajay won the hearts of fans by wearing a uniform. He played the character named Amit Kumar in this film released in 2003, which was first offered to Akshay Kumar. After Akshay’s no, Gangaajal came to Ajay and became one of the memorable films of his career.

Ishq

‘Ishq’ was released in the year 1997 and proved to be a superhit. Aamir Khan, Juhi Chawla and Kajol worked with Ajay in important roles. However, before Ajay, the makers of Ishq had offered the film to Shahrukh, but he turned it down.

Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam

Aishwarya Rai and Salman Khan worked with Ajay Devgan in ‘Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam’. But Ajay was not the first choice of the makers for this film as well.  This film was rejected by three superstars, after which Ajay Devgan agreed to do the film. Before Ajay, this 1999 superhit film was offered to Aamir Khan, Sanjay Dutt and Shahrukh Khan, but none of the three superstars showed interest in it.
